This is 42This is 42- Aging is inevitable. But here are some ways that I prevent premature aging for my skin.
1. Teach the body to produce collagen. Drink a warm mug of bone broth ( we make ours and can it) Get your omega rich foods in. Some other favorites are beans ( we can ours) Cashews Sencha Green tea ( for those who can have caffeine) Raw cocoa or fermented Sweet potatoes Flax seeds ( I mix them in salads and grind them in with my homemade nut butter. 2. Take Collagen creamed in with your morning drink. Speaking of ghee: It’s a great carrier for enhancing the absorption of whatever you mix it with. I mix it with my powdered herbs for better digestion. It is also a rich source of nutrients like calcium, healthy fats, omega-3 fatty acids, and Vitamins A, D, E, and K. 3. I do facial massage to myself to stimulate blood flow every morning and night. It works! 5. Once every 6 months juice celery and drink it every morning for a week. Celery contains Vitamin C, which can help boost collagen production in the skin. Detoxifies the skin, brightened the skin, reduces eye puffiness, improves elasticity, helps acne. 6. Cold plunges - I did 6 weeks of cold lake showers on purpose to help reset my nervous system. Skin: Improves circulation Eases swelling and inflammation Stimulates skin regeneration by helping remove dead skin cells While increasing blood flow, cold water reacts with your central nervous system in some remarkable ways. When you enter cold water, your brain begins to produce norepinephrine, a hormone that helps regulate attention, vigilance, and focus. There are so many more benefits! 7. Get up early I rise around 5-5:30 am and go to bed early. Why? It’s proven to increase mental health. Your skin cells are regenerated while you sleep, fixing the UV damage and increasing the collagen and blood flow. Going to bed early and walking up early is proven to give more restorative sleep. Early risers are more productive and motivated. It reduces stress and limits grogginess. You will have alone time to start your day right. Just to name a few… Well these are my top tips of the week!
